There’s a moment before memory begins —
A single drop. A ripple in the silence.
That’s where this piece lives.

The First Sound emerged from a quiet afternoon, the kind where the world feels distant, and perception sharpens like a blade. I captured it in real life — a moment so small it could’ve gone unnoticed. A droplet breaking the surface, refracted and ghosted in light.

Later, in digital stillness, I reshaped it. Pulled it into a place beyond water and light. Into something elemental. Not a splash, not a wave, but a whisper. A beginning.

It reminds me of how sound first reaches the ear — not in volume, but in presence. And how many things begin that way: unnoticed, gentle, almost private.

I’ve always been drawn to things that appear when you're not looking for them. This image was a still point in the chaos — something unspoken, alive. My edits weren’t meant to beautify, but to honor the energy already there. The shape is real, the feeling is real — I only made it visible.

The First Sound is available now as a fine art print. It belongs in spaces that invite reflection. Soft-lit rooms. Minimal walls. Places where silence is celebrated, not filled.

This piece isn’t loud. It doesn’t ask for attention. It just waits, and some people will find it.
